Mt. Rainier Gondola, Crystal Mountain, Enumclaw, Washington

Hey Guys πŸ˜‡, Hope u had wonderful time and stayed safe. I have been having busy schedule lately so, Its been few weeks since I posted articles about my travels.

Last Saturday, we have been to Crystal Mountain located in the Cascade Range of Washington (in the northwestern United States), southeast of Seattle. It's a bit of a drive from the city, however, its well worth it.

Crystal Mountain was opened for business during winter of 1962. It's a great family destination and perfect for Ski or Snowboarding or  Gondola lift or just playing in snow

We visited Crystal Mountain for a day getaway from our busy schedule with our son and oh man, we had a wonderful time with unexpected snow and amazing scenery (I was totally surprised to see snow in April since its our first time visit to Enumclaw). Of course I don't know skiing πŸ˜›, so enjoyed the scenic and breathtaking view of crystal mountain. You also get to view Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens. πŸ”

As soon as we arrived, we parked our car @ Parking 2 slot and immediately went to buy tickets for scenic gondola ride. We bought tickets @ the window near the entrance to get on the gondola lift. Luckily the waiting time was less and we got on to the gondola. Ah, what a scenic view.

A ride on the Mt. Rainier Gondola will take you over 2,400 vertical feet to the peak of the summit and trust me the ride was purely majestic.

Unfortunately, we couldn't stay on the summit for more time since it was snowing and the wind was unforgiving 🌬. We were literally freezing πŸ₯Ά and we only managed to stay up at the top for about 5 minutes since the area for tourists at the top of the summit is little small if you are not skiing.

There is a restaurant at  top of the Summit. They have a lot of food options incase you get hungry or forgot to bring a packed lunch.

Ps: Tickets rates differs for Gondola during Peak and Off-peak seasons.🎫

There are various lodges that provides snacks, hot/cold drinks, souvenirs and a tons of concessions and options for visitors. There are bars, kids areas, plenty of clean restrooms, shops for people who need to purchase gear and of course ample permit and free parking.

I heard the ability to ski is almost year round here and there seems to be different ski slopes to chose from once you go to Crystal Mountain. ⛷🎿

Ps: Everyone was wearing mask here, so no issues with safety and some were following social distancing too along with us. And am glad for that. 😷

That's all for  now.

Stay Safe friends and Have fun exploring my Blog and if possible do visit these places whenever ur free…
