A hot Cuppa Chai on a Rainy Day !!! 🍡

Image
The quiet paved path on the road infront of my house began to dampen quickly with the sudden rain fall since dawn today and I am sitting in my front yard sipping hot cup of Chai on a rainy day watching a view of greenery around me as if nature has come alive. It is just mid-morning now as the sun struggles to make its presence behind a thick sheath of clouds.☁ The memory of my childhood doubled down on me (and so I'm penning down my thoughts in this blog ) when I was recalling my past where I would enjoy the simple pleasures of rainy day like eating snacks- vegetable samosas, onion pakora, Maggie noodles πŸœ or simple plain biscuits along with my favorite masala chai/tea, a perfect treat I deserved after a hectic day of studies/work. Playing in the rain while coming from school or college or office.☔ Such a fond memories!! Chai with a bite on the samosas or fried fitters platter (either Onions, Green chilies, Potatoes, Cauliflower, Cabbage or bre

Hoover Dam and Bridge, Nevada, USA

When you think of Nevada, the name " Las Vegas " pops in everyone's head. The dazzling lights at night, casinos and the famous Vegas Strip. πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί Check my blog article on Las Vegas-   https://sk-digilance.blogspot.com/2021/06/las-vegas-strip-nevada-usa.html But, there are many places and landmarks in Nevada we generally tend to miss especially this historic landmark "Hoover Dam" , infront of  Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge or Hoover Dam Bypass @ Boulder City. Its a 40 minutes drive away from the Vegas strip. Whenever I visited Las Vegas in past, I would definitely visit Hoover Dam with an arch bridge and arch gravity dam which is a must see popular tourist destination when you go to Las Vegas in Nevada.  First time when I visited Hoover Dam many years ago, it was very impressive and even bigger, more massive than I imagined with an incredible structure and with largest hydroelectric power station.

Viva Las Vegas!  A famous 1964 American musical movie of Elvis Presley and Ann Margret.πŸ•ΊπŸ’ƒ It's a Spanish phrase, "Viva" means "Long Live" and "Las Vegas" means “The Meadows”. So, Long Live Las Vegas !!πŸ˜πŸ™ƒ "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!" 🀫 - An endearing slogan among people around the world. But, my dear friends, I would definitely want to share my Las Vegas travel experiences. πŸ€— I have been to Las Vegas at least 4 times in last 2 decades.  Las Vegas is known for its amazingly detailed contemporary architecture of resorts, hotels and casinos like MGM Grand, New York-New York, The Venetian, Caesars Palace, Paris hotel, Bellagio and many more.πŸ™ The iconic Las Vegas strip  also known as Las Vegas Boulevard, a major road in the Las Vegas Valley, is an incredibly place to walk with endless sights especially during night making Vegas atmosphere alive. Its one of my standout memories. We don&#

Confusion hill @ Leggett, California

Confusion Hill is a another roadside attraction in Piercy, California 15 minutes drive from Chandelier tree ( https://sk-digilance.blogspot.com/2021/05/chandelier-tree-leggett-california.html ) . Confusion Hill (similar to Santa Cruz's Mystery Spot) is a home of mystery and Gravity. There is a small train ride, a quick thing, kind of cute and you go all the way up the small hill and then just ride backward down just to feel the weird magnetic pull. Not a major destination attraction but worth a stop in my opinion for those who have younger kids as it has a World's tallest freestanding redwood carving as mentioned in Ripley's Believe It or Not! My son loved it of course because of his love for trains. We did hangout near small playground and enjoy the shade watching squirrels. Ps: The gift shop/ snack bar is typical but has nice things available. Visit their website for further details like
