Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, California

Image
Golden Gate Bridge , a Historical Landmark with a beautiful view of Pacific Ocean, Angel Island and Alcatraz Island. Golden Gate is an iconic to San Francisco so you definitely have to stop to admire it at least once if  you are staying in US or visiting to California ( from another country) for vacation.  I heard so much about this bridge since my schooling/ college days in India, saw it on TV and Hollywood movies but coming to California and seeing it every time with your eyes you still get awestruck. The view never gets old, believe me, I've been over this bridge many times in my lifetime via car and have walked on it too (too many times to count). The bridge is only 1.7 miles long, but there are lot of people here to walk or visit this iconic structure. On the east side of the bridge are paths for the pedestrians while the west side of the bridge are for the bicyclists. I would definitely recommend heading out on a weekday for a run, hike or

Kerry Park, Seattle, Washington

Image
My family and I were out during Christmas holidays to visit some local places in Washington and one day we decided to head to Kerry Park because it was a beautiful sunny afternoon. 😊  It is a small park located on the south side of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle. People visit this park for the view of the city of Seattle including the iconic Space Needle which is few minutes walk up from this viewpoint and view of Mount Rainier as the background. Definitely a must see for people visiting Seattle for the first time! We took in the view but chose not to linger much as when we arrived there were many people around 15-20 not crowded but some people had mask on and few didn't, so we had our mask on and practiced social distancing and didn't stay for much longer. Although, the neighborhood is amazing to watch. If you want to stay for much longer and take multiple photos, I suggest arrive as early as possible on a good sunny day.  Ps: If y

Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park, Renton, Washington State

During recent 2020 Christmas holidays we have been to few interesting places and one of them is Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park , a public park in Renton, Washington along the shore of Lake Washington.  We went there to view Christmas Lighting on Christmas Eve but due to pandemic there wasn't much decoration to view. This park has everything u want like beach area, play frisbees, volleyball, kids play area, BBQ grills, fly kites, picnic area, walking trails, docks and boat parking. During these Covid-19 pandemic times, it is nice to be able to bring the kids for walking or play around or for swimming with masks on and practice social distance. It has great walking path and places to sit around to watch the beautiful sunset. Cool place to relax and enjoy the view of Mount Rainier on the beach sides.   Although there are some rules here to follow. Posting a photo below for your review. Plenty of free parking spa
