Bellevue Arts Museum, Bellevue, Washington

Bellevue Arts Museum ( also known as BAM), a nonprofit organization established in 1975 is located in Bellevue, Washington across from Bellevue Square and has a history of hosting a diverse range of exhibitions and programs that explore a variety of themes and artistic mediums every season. The architectural model of Bellevue Arts Museum was designed by Steven Holl ( an architect) which opened in 2001. The building is a three floors distinctive and modern architectural design featuring a blend of concrete, glass and steel. This museum's mission is to provide a platform for artists to showcase their work and to engage the community in dialogue about contemporary art and culture. I recently visited this art Museum last week and to my bad luck only first floor was open for showcasing "Hamed Shirzadian's jewelry" and "Brain Injury Art Show" and the remaining floors were closed due to renovation. Suryanarayana Temple (Sun Temple), Gollala Mamidada, Andhra Pradesh, India

However, you can't photograph inside and we have to respect the temple authorities wishes.**  As written in my previous article, Gollala Mamidada is renowned for two historic and popular temples in East Godavari district the state of Andhra Pradesh. 1. Kodandarama Temple ( https://sk-digilance.blogspot.com/2022/01/kodandarama-temple-gollala-mamidada.html ) 2. Suryanarayana Temple Suryanarayana Temple (Sun temple) is built around 1920's. In this temple, Lord Surya is worshiped in the Vishnuroopam(i.e.., in the Vishnu avatar). The walls of the temple are intricately carved with paintings depicting surya namaskaras. The east-facing "gopuram" or the entrance tower is around 150 ft. in height and has nine (9) stories with five (5) "kalasams" on top of the tower.
