Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, California

Los Angeles has been my go-to place past 15 years. Whenever we had a long weekend and did not have a plan to travel other states or countries, we would road trip to LA ( since it was few hours drive). Among many places in LA like Disneyland, Universal studios, Warner's Brothers studio and many more Landmarks, Hollywood Boulevard is one of my favorite downtown spot I often go every time I visit LA. Its a 4-5 miles long stretch in Los Angeles starting from Highland Avenue to Orange Drive with the following attraction -

Museums like -

Madame Tussauds Hollywood Wax Museum featuring replicas of famous celebrities. ( will upload the link here once I finish writing the article)

Landmarks like -

TCL Chinese Theatre formerly known as the Grauman's Chinese Theatre ( the exterior is designed in the Chinese Style)

Dolby Theatre formerly known as the Kodak Theatre

Hollywood Pacific Theatre

Grauman's Egyptian Theatre ( the exterior of the theater is in the Egyptian Revival architectural style that uses the motifs and imagery of ancient Egypt)

Fonda Theatre ( the exterior is designed in the Spanish Colonial Style)

Vista Theatre and many more.

Hollywood attractions like -

Hollywood & Highland - shopping mall

Ripley's Believe It Or Not!

Hollywood Roosevelt historic hotel ( Its the oldest still running hotel, built in 1926 with a Golden age architecture with  Spanish Colonial style interior and named after Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the US. Take a moment infront of the building to gaze at the architecture. A feast for our eyes! )

Hollywood Sign can be seen from the top floors of Hollywood & Highland mall.

Hollywood & Highland mall- This mall is one of my favorite spot for resting, shopping and taking lots of pictures.

There is a Ghirardelli Chocolate inside Disney Studio Store opposite to this mall. 🍦🍨🍫🍭

This Ghirardelli Store is a small version store compared to Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco ( https://sk-digilance.blogspot.com/2020/12/ghirardelli-square-san-francisco.html ). Since, I have a sweet-tooth, I would always grab one of the best Ghirardelli Chocolate’s signature sundaes. (I have written all my favorite and suggested signature sundaes in Ghirardelli Chocolate San Francisco Blog (https://sk-digilance.blogspot.com/2020/12/ghirardelli-square-san-francisco.html). Please take a look at it).

There is a lot to do and see on the Hollywood boulevard and most of the attractions are free esp. the Stars on the Walk of Fame, the hand and footprints near the TCL Chinese Theatre and definitely strolling around the boulevard but keep in mind it will take a few hours. I would plan to be out at least 3-4 hours whenever I go. Never forget It's Hollywood! There is a big souvenir store "Souvenirs of Hollywood" along with other attractions, you may want to check out. Enjoy your time walking, sightseeing with ur friends, family or alone.

You can get Souvenirs like Christmas Ornaments, apparels, Postcards, Fridge Magnets, Key chains and many more.

Hollywood Walk of Fame :⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good to see the names of many famous stars ( I could recognize only few πŸ‘€πŸ˜œ) but there were a lot of them that I had not heard of. Nothing stupendous ! It was fun activity to walk around, take some photos squatting down with the names of the starts whom I heard of.

Parking - πŸš—πŸš˜

Searching for Parking on Hollywood Boulevard is always tough, but there is underground garage parking on Hollywood Blvd and N Highland Ave. The entrance to the parking is on N highland Ave. We usually pay less or almost $10 -$15 for 2-4 hrs. parking.

Stay Safe friends and Have fun exploring my Blog and if possible do visit these places whenever ur free…

Until my next article ….πŸ‘‹πŸ’
