Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco

Who doesn't love Chocolates? 🀩🍫

Since childhood, I had a sweet-tooth. I loved eating chocolates in India, My parents would get me chocolates regularly and coming to US especially California excited me to experience my all time favorite Ghirardelli.

I frequently visit Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco which is a landmark public square with shops and restaurants.

Domenico Ghirardelli (founder), an Italian chocolatier in 1893 purchased the entire city block in order to make it into the headquarters of the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company division of Swiss confectioner Lindt.

I would always buy collection of Chocolate bars, goodies, boxes and baskets from the Ghirardelli Chocolate Shop as gift to family and friends before going to India for summer or winter holidays. ✈

My favorite chocolates flavors are Milk & Caramel, Dark & Raspberry and Intense Dark 72% Cacao.

There is another place in that building which is Ghirardelli Chocolate Marketplace. Whenever I visited the Marketplace, I would always grab one of the best Ghirardelli Chocolate’s signature sundaes which are either Strike It Rich- Butterscotch Hot Fudge Sundae ( Butter pecan ice cream smothered with butterscotch, vanilla ice cream and hot fudge) or Treasure Island - Warm Brownie Sundae (Vanilla ice cream paired with warm Ghirardelli Chocolate Brownie and hot fudge).  They have a lot of Ghirardelli's signature collection of Sundaes and Shakes.

Perhaps u can try their Chocolates, signature sundaes & Shakes whenever u visit  San Francisco!! πŸ˜€

Ps: There is a another branch in Los Angeles for anyone visiting LA located on Hollywood's Walk of Fame , a 2-min walk from the Hollywood and Highland Center. (https://sk-digilance.blogspot.com/2021/09/hollywood-boulevard-los-angeles.html)

Writing about Ghirardelli,  I'm craving for a chocolate now πŸ˜‹. So, hope to see you all in my next article until then Ciao 😘....

Stay Safe Friends!
