Enchanting Fall !! 🍁

Everywhere I look, I can see the visible changes in nature as it prepares for Fall/ Autumn season, temperatures are getting cooler and breezy, leaves changing into rust-colors and strewn all over on roads and highways.
For me this is the most incredible time of the year apart from Spring with vibrant hues of yellow, orange, red and brown.

"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower." - ALBERT CAMUS

As most of us know, on September 21st each year, we embrace the fall season with the arrival of the fall equinox (also known as the autumnal equinox).

Born and growing up in a cosmopolitan city in India, I hardly saw any greenery around my house so, I did miss the beauty of the nature during the seasonal changes. But, now living in US almost two decades, made me see and enjoy the nature near my home or during my travels particularly beautiful and colorful flowers blooming in Spring from March to May, Fall/autumnal leaf color changing to vibrant shades of yellow, orange, red and brown in September, October, November.

Hey its officially pumpkin inspirational "Everything" season whether its -

1. Fall/Autumn fashion trends with shades of yellow, orange, red and brown.
2. Beauty products or masks with "pumpkin" flavors or shades.
3. Lifestyle ideas like Fall bucket list, Fall crafts, Fall/Autumn home dΓ©cor.
4. Fall/Autumn Holiday Traditions like Pumpkin Patches, Thanksgiving or spooky "Halloween".
5. Fall/Autumn Food ideas like Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin-flavored Starbucks latte, Pumpkin-Spiced Ice Cream, Pumpkin bread and many more Fall recipes.
6. Fall Travels like "Where to go for the best Fall Foliage?".
7. Fall/Autumn Photography.

Fall Foliage -
I live in an area where "foliage" changes according to the seasons. We moved to a new place and now my house is surrounded by trees and I know how exciting I feel whenever the season changes. I can already see the vibrant palettes of red, orange, yellow and brown across the forest near my home.

I occasionally enjoy drinking "Pumpkin" Chai latte @ Starbucks to lift the Autumn/Fall spirit. Infact I'm drinking one now and writing this article. It contains real pumpkin sauce, steamed milk, fall spices (such as cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove) and one shot of decaf espresso. Yes, I wrote decaf since I avoid intake of too much caffeine. Decaf may still contain a small amount of caffeine but much less than the regular one.

Being rich in "vitamin A" pumpkin is very good for the eyes. So, I make Indian dishes made of Pumpkin  regularly during these 3 months from September till November like -

1. "Instant-pot" pumpkin soup mixed with Indian Spices.
2. South Indian Pumpkin "sambar" variety made with yellow pumpkin.
3. Pumpkin "halwa" - a sweet dish made with pumpkin along with cardamom and dry fruits.
4. Spiced pumpkin "curry" with coconut.
5. Pumpkin "lentils/dal".

As said earlier, this season tends to include "pumpkin" flavors or shades in most of the Fall/Autumn Beauty products, so I recently bought Pumpkin "Overnight facemask" from Trader's Joe and as you all know that Trader's Joe is quite known for its seasonal treats.

Enough said for now!!

Thank you for writing such positive comments which made my work much easier, encouraging and more enjoyable.
