Jelly Belly Bean Factory, Fairfield, California, USA

More than a decade ago, me along with my then toddler took a tour @ Jelly Belly Bean Factory in Fairfield.

I was looking at my previous photo albums and it showed we went to Jelly Belly Factory on a particular Sunday since it was date/time stamped on the photos.

I remember it was intriguing but since the factory was closed, we didn't get to see the employees working or the machines in action. Instead we got a walking narrated tour around which gave us the history, production, future and sometimes tons of fun facts & information of the company. It was fun & satisfying tour.

This was the best place for kids to hangout for at least 3 to 4 hrs. minimum. After the narrated tour we were given free sample thank you bag for visiting. There was a gift/candy Store which had lots of colorful, yummy & weird flavorful Jelly Beans, souvenirs, school accessories, gift cards, hats, wearable clothing etc.

Before going to this factory, I never heard of the Belly Flops, but after seeing in the store, I liked it because it comes in different shapes and sizes with assorted flavorful Jelly Beans and these are a real bargain.

There were many Jelly Belly artwork of famous Icons, places, animals in the lobby. The Jelly Bean art work of President Reagan was quite famous and if truth be told it totally awed me.

There was wine and chocolate tasting, since I don't drink so I never went to that part of area. I think we need to register before tasting.

There was a Café (I don't remember the name of the café) but the food was astoundingly good esp. they focused on kid-friendly menu such as pizza, burgers, ice creams etc.

Ps:

1. If you are planning to visit any other day expect Sunday , You need to purchase tickets inside the Visitor Center. Tickets costs $5 for Adults , $2 for Children above 2 yrs of age and its free for age under 2.

2. I don't remember about parking whether its paid or free. Its better to take cash.

If you are in or around SFO, you should absolutely check out Jelly Bean factory. Its a blast!!

Stay Safe and Have fun exploring the Blog, Until my next article …..👋
